Dummy tree

At tesco in Grimsby just outside the store there used to be a tree where people put unwanted or found dummies. i took both of my children to put their dummies on this tree when it was time to give it up, with the promise of a present under their pillow the next morning. so here is one xx

    I have never heard of dummies - are they the same thing as binkies? I clicked on the photo to enlarge it to get a better look but am not sure. We are all such funny people with our different names! :<)
